Application and Instructions
The ING New York City Marathon 2011 non-guaranteed entry application is closed. The non-guaranteed entry drawing results will be announced on April 27. Watch Marathon Opening Day at 12:00 noon EDT.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Anyone who will be 18 or older on Sunday, November 6, 2011, may apply for entry. Only one application per person. Any fees processed due to individuals submitting duplicate applications are non-refundable.
Please note: Handcycle applications will only be accepted from persons who have been active bona fide members of Achilles International since October 1, 2010.
APPLICATIONS FOR ENTRY
Except as may otherwise be provided for certain guaranteed entry applications (see “Guaranteed Entry Options” below), applications for entry into the 2011 marathon may be submitted until 11:59 p.m. on April 19, 2011.
Due to limitations on the size of the marathon field, not all entry applications can be accepted. Acceptances (other than guaranteed entries) will be determined by “lottery” drawings currently scheduled to be held in late April.
Most international entrants come through our Official International Travel Partners (ITPs), so only a portion of international applicants (including athletes with disabilities) will be selected through the drawings.
