Advice

Find Your Inspiration

Last weekend, the incredible women in town for the NYRR New York Mini 10K gave us a thrilling performance; watch the video. Whether it’s the amazing Linet Masai of Kenya breaking the tape, Paula Radcliffe and Kara Goucher supporting one another as pregnant friends and runners, or the final race finishers who persevered, let their performances fire you up. Some runners will set the standard—Haile Gebrselassie, Meb Keflezighi, and Deena Kastor will be competing in New York this year, along with Shalane Flanagan, who announced today that she’s joining the field. And don’t forget the kids—in our youth programs and in your lives—who are destined to become running’s future stars if we teach them how.

Show Your Passion

You’re proud to be a runner, so start telling people who you are and why you’re training. The latest RUN T-shirt is now available in black for men and in pink for women. Get this summer special while it lasts, and tell everyone in your neighborhood where you’re going this fall.
