Daily Tip #12: Make Your Memories Last
Friday, October 28
November 6 will be the experience of a lifetime, so plan now to make sure that you and your family go home with lifelong memories.
See your name in print: The names of finishers who’ve run 4½ hours or faster will be published in the Special Marathon Results section of The New York Times, available on November 7. Plan to buy a souvenir copy for yourself—and extras for friends and family.
Honor Your Marathoner: Congratulate yourself and other marathoners with a keepsake from Tiffany & Co. From desktop accessories to fine jewelry, the limited-edition collection featuring the official ING New York City Marathon logo is available now. Personalization with a runner’s name, year, and time is available on some items.
Celebrate on November 7: Don’t miss Marathon Monday at the Marathon Pavilion, where you can shop for exclusive finisher merchandise, get your finisher medal engraved, recover at Hospital for Special Surgery stretching stations, and meet other finishers and fans.
Photographs and DVDs: Watch your inbox in the days after the race for pictures of your race, courtesy of brightroom. Frame your photo and finisher medal together in a personalized plaque from Fond Memories. You can also keep a video of the race via archived streaming on UniversalSports.com, or by setting your DVR to record the live race-day broadcast.
