ING New York City Marathon Health and Fitness Expo (Thursday, November 4– Saturday, November 6)
The ING New York City Marathon Health and Fitness Expo will take place at the Jacob Javits Convention Center at 11th Avenue and West 35th Street. Volunteers will work in the following shifts:

Shift #1: 7:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m.

Description: Assist with handing out race numbers to registered runners.

ii. Goody Bag Distribution [Apply Now]
Description: Assist with handing out goody bags to runners.

iii. ID Check [Apply Now]
Description: Check runner’s ID at the entrance to registration.

iv. Marshal [Apply Now]
Description: Control flow inside and outside of the expo area. Direct runners to the number pickup and other patrons to the expo entrance.

v. D-Tag Check [Apply Now]
Description: Assist with activation of runners’ D-Tags.

Marathon Eve Dinner (Saturday, November 6)
All Marathon Eve Dinner volunteer jobs will be performed inside Tavern on the Green Restaurant, which is located in Central Park at West 67th Street.

Description: Assist with event setup.

ii. Event Service [Apply Now]
Description: Assist with seating and serving event guests.

Description: Assist with crowd control inside and outside Tavern on the Green.
